No expedition is made alone.
Tribal-ology began with a simple question:
What happens when people leave home?
Since then, that question has led me through museums, monasteries, coffee shops, hiking trails, archaeology books, family stories, movement classes, and dinner tables.
If these journeys resonate with you, I’d love for you to pull up a chair.
As a Field Companion, you’ll receive new Field Notes, stories from the road, books I’m exploring, upcoming events, and occasional reflections about culture, belonging, faith, and the traditions that shape us.
And if you have a story of your own—a family recipe, a local tradition, an old photograph, a place that changed you, or a question you’ve been carrying—I hope you’ll share that too.
After all…
Every expedition is richer because of the people around the table.
